1. Who we are

This notice covers personal data you share with us through this website.

2. What personal data we collect

• Consultation & contact forms: name, email address, phone number, preferred service, preferred date/time and your message.
• Franchise enquiry form: name, mobile number, email, city, state, preferred area, investment range, property status, your background, preferred format and your message.
• Technical data: a temporary session cookie and your IP address, used only to block spam on our forms. Your IP address is not stored with your enquiry.

We do not ask for sensitive data such as ID numbers, bank details or health information through this website. This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

3. Why we use it (purpose)

• To reply to your enquiry, give a quote and book or confirm your tattoo, piercing, removal or training appointment.
• To discuss the Inkrider franchise opportunity with you (franchise form only).

We use your data only for the purpose you gave it for. We do not sell it, and we do not send you marketing messages unless you separately ask us to.

4. Your consent

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent (Section 6 of the DPDP Act). You give consent by ticking the consent box before submitting a form. You can withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it — just email or WhatsApp us. Once withdrawn, we will stop using your data and delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it. Withdrawal does not affect anything done before it.

5. Who we share it with

Your enquiry is delivered to our studio email inbox. We use trusted service providers (Data Processors) to run this — our web hosting provider and our email provider — who handle the data only on our instructions. We may also disclose data if required by law or by a government authority. We never share your data with third parties for their own marketing.

6. How long we keep it

• Consultation and contact enquiries: up to 12 months from our last interaction.
• Franchise enquiries: up to 24 months from our last interaction.

After this, or as soon as the purpose is fulfilled or you withdraw consent, we delete your data unless a law requires us to keep it longer.

7. Your rights as a Data Principal

• Access — ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
• Correction & erasure — ask us to correct, complete, update or delete your data.
• Withdraw consent — at any time, for any future use.
• Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with us (see below).
• Nominate — nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.

We will respond within the time required under the DPDP Act and Rules. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

9. Children

Our website forms are meant for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal data of a child without verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian. If you are under 18, please ask your parent or guardian to contact us on your behalf.

10. How we protect your data

The site runs on HTTPS. Our forms have spam protection, enquiries are sent only to our studio inbox, and access is limited to the Inkrider team members who need it to respond to you. If a personal data breach occurs, we will inform the Data Protection Board and affected users as required by law.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its “Last updated” date.
